About Sunday Classes

We believe an educational experience, rooted in the word and connected to life, is essential to our Christian spiritual growth. Come and grow in Christ with your head, heart, and hands.

Our Sunday Classes are geared towards all ages and abilities. Classes take place from 9:00 - 9:40 am. Children and Youth classes will get out 5 minutes after adult classes. Since our class time is shorter, we suggest checking in, and getting coffee and treats between 8:45 - 8:55. Classes will start right on time!

Adult Classes

Marriage Class

Location: Dunham Hall (Lower Level)
Time: 9:00 - 9:40 am
Teachers: Deb and Dan Farnum / John and Kathy Wallbaum

We will study a number of different topics each week including: Love Languages, Compatibility, Creating a Legacy, Learning to Agree and Decision-Making, and Goals/Priorities.

Each week we will spend time in scripture, discuss the topic for the week, share stories, and discussion applications for our lives.

Disability Ministry

Friendship Bible Class

Location: Friendship Room
(lower level)
Time: 9:00 - 9:40 am
Topic: Lessons about Jacob’s Family

We offer a safe place for Adults with Disabilities to grow in their faith, connect with others, and study the Bible. This Sunday class contains Bible teaching and activities geared toward adults and teens aged 16 and up with various disabilities/special needs.

Children’s Classes

It’s important to us that children have spaces to develop Bible literacy, to know God as he is revealed in his Word, and to build relationships with teachers and other children.

Location: 2nd floor
Check In: 8:45 am
Time: 9:00 - 9:45 am (ends 5 minutes after adult classes)

Nursery | Birth - Age 2

Birth to age 2 will follow a simple repeated cirriculum that reinforces the love of God and belonging in our church family.

God Loves Me Story | Pre-K

Our preschoolers will work through the God Loves Me Storybooks, covering the Bible’s story in one year. This class typically has a lot of free play time, a brief circle time with songs and story, and a snack.

The Gathering Place | K - 5th Grade

K-5th graders will start in The Gathering Place with a welcome, songs, and prayer, and then break out into their individual classes. We’ll be celebrating our students, working on memory verses, and learning songs of the church during this time.

Children and Worship | K - 1st Grade

In this class, we will focus specifically on the Gospel Story and knowing Jesus. Our curriculum uses Montessori-style story-telling (with little wooden figures), wondering, and free response to help children interact with God and his stories.

WonderLab | 2nd - 5th Grade

The Wonderlab will be working through the book of Genesis this fall, continuing to read, wonder, and respond together in various ways. Stories are taught straight out of the Bible (NIrV), so some reading ability is helpful.

Youth Classes

Checkin: 8:45 am
Time: 9:00 - 9:45 am

Live the Mystery | 6th - 7th Grades

This class is part of the “Live the Mystery” milestone and is intended to help prepare preteens for seasons in their life when they might question or doubt their faith by helping them to see and meet Jesus in the big story of the Bible, learning and praciting spiritual disciples, and encouraging spiritual conversations with their parents/guardians.

Youth Group | 8th - 12th Grades

Our Junior and Senior High Students will meet together in room 005 (downstairs) to study books of the Bible in greater depth.
